Camp HBC was established by Hespeler Baptist Church as a day camp run to provide campers with engaging activities, opportunities for deep friendships, and a clear presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray Camp HBC will be the highlight of your child's summer!
Our staff and volunteers are committed to providing your child with an exceptional camp experience for an incredibly reasonable price! We strive to present the gospel, live in a manner worthy of the gospel, and serve our campers and families for the sake of the gospel.
Above all, Camp HBC exists to demonstrate the transforming work of the gospel! Although activities and games are some of the best parts of camp, we believe there is something much more important for our lives. We can all live without games, but no one can live without the gospel!

Camp HBC happens at Hespeler Baptist Church (76 Adam St., Cambridge, ON, N3C 2K5). Stay tuned for a location of our Summer Olympics Camp.
Camp hours are from 9:00am - 4:00pm. If you need to extend the day for your camper, Extended Care runs from 8:00am - 5:00pm for $35 per week.
Good question! The grade requirements are always based on the upcoming school year starting in September 2025.
Campers should bring along a lunch on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Camp HBC provides lunch for campers on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week (dietary options available!).
Campers should always come with nutritious snacks to get them through the day. We usually provide at least one snack per day, though it is wise to pack more than needed for our busy camp days!
Yes! Our staff members have First Aid Training, and both our staff and volunteers have up-to-date Plan to Protect training and current Vulnerable Sector checks.
Hespeler Baptist Church abides by an up-to-date Child Protection Policy. We seek to maintain a 1:6 leader to child ratio.
One of the best parts of Camp HBC are our amazing off-site trips! Typically a week of camp will include a trip to the local pool (walking distance), along with one or two other trips to places like the African Lion Safari, Bingeman’s or Skyzone. Apart from the pool, we take a chartered school bus to get to our off-site destinations.
You will receive information from Camp HBC regarding the details, schedule and a packing list later in the Spring/Summer. Week specific information is sent out one week before the start of the specific camp.
Do not hesitate to reach out! We would be happy to hear from you and answer any questions you may have. For registration and payment inquiries, you can contact our church office by email (quickest response time). If you have questions about programming, volunteering or anything else, email our Camp Director.
